Red Ribbon Week October 23rd – 31st
This week marks Red Ribbon Week in our community. The National Family Partnership organized the first Nationwide Red Ribbon Campaign. The Red Ribbon Campaign began in 1985 with community members wearing Red Ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the problems caused by drugs in the United States of America.
The Partners for a Drug-Free Milford Miami Township is recognizing Red Ribbon Week with a couple of activities in our community. At the High School, students will be able to show their drug-free pride with a Snapchat filter. Junior High students will have the opportunity to receive a wristband and show their drug-free support!
